Today’s Sermon

Jesus Is Our Peace

Key Scripture

Isaiah 11:1-10

Sermon Notes

Jesus is our Peace – Isaiah 11:1-10

The promised King will:

  1. Have a humble beginning (Isaiah 11:1)
  2. Be filled with the Spirit (Isaiah 11:2)
  3. Bring absolute justice (Isaiah 11:3-5)
  4. Bring perfect peace (Isaiah 11:6-9)
  5. Be for ALL the people (Isaiah 11:10)

Jesus, who has come and is coming again, is the only hope that will never disappoint us in the midst of an increasingly barren culture. This Advent, commit time to Christ every day so you can be the person who can see the “shoots” amidst the “stumps” all around us.

It’s officially Christmas season! On this episode, the hosts talk with David Hannah about Christmas favorites and traditions. In November, all of our campuses taught through the book of Habakkuk.
