“Do for one, what you wish you could do for everyone.”
We may not all be called to adopt and foster, but we are all called to help.
The Church at Station Hill’s Foster and Adoption Ministry (FAM) walks with individuals, families, children, and organizations as they seek to care well for children in need.
To obey God’s call to care for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children, and to equip, encourage and walk with families who have or are adopting, fostering or providing short-term care for children.
To make an eternal difference in the lives of orphans and children in crisis and promote awareness of God’s heart for these children.
WRAP is a tool that helps mobilize the people of The Church at Station Hill to reflect Jesus to children who are adopted, fostered, or in kinship care and the families who care for them.
It consists of four primary ways the body of Christ can serve these children and the families who have welcomed them into their home:
W | Words of Encouragement – Text, call & write letters of encouragement.
R | Relief Care – Give families respite through acts of babysitting, taking children out for playdates, and more.
A | Acts of Service – Provide meals, help with housework, lawn care, and more.
P | Prayer – Spend time in intentional prayer for the family you are assigned.
