David and Laura have served 30+ years with the IMB working to reach Europeans with the gospel after God called them away from the BBC staff to serve overseas. Their ministry currently incorporates three main emphases: equipping local believers in outreach and sharing their faith, leading a Christian charity (Serve 365) that facilitates volunteer visas for Christian workers all over the UK, and heading up a Leadership Development Network across IMB in Europe.

PRAYER NEEDS

• Pray for Western Europeans who are often disinterested in the gospel.  Pray that God will stir in their hearts and draw people to Himself.
• Pray that local Christians in Edinburgh will be bold in sharing their faith and grow as disciples of Jesus.
• Pray that God will soften the hearts of people in Edinburgh and Scotland to hear and respond to the gospel.
• Pray for us to be encouraging and challenging as we equip local believers to share.
• Pray that Serve 365 will continue to facilitate workers for the Kingdom throughout the UK partnering with Christian churches and charities.

It seems impossible to reach the 99 percent of Europeans who don’t have a relationship with Jesus. Yet we labor in joyful anticipation that the Holy Spirit will stir the hearts of Europeans once again.
