From Dr. Matt Purdom

Dear Church Family,

I am honored and humbled to serve as your South Region Associate Executive Pastor. The past twelve years of serving at Brentwood have truly been a joy and privilege for me and my family. Brentwood is a unique and vibrant church community that intentionally invests in its members, encouraging and equipping them toward spiritual maturity, so they can engage the whole person with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ (Eph. 4:11-16). From the beginning, our family has felt deeply at home in this loving and supportive environment, and we are eager to continue growing, serving, and following Christ alongside you.

The Lord has profoundly used Brentwood and the many Christ-centered relationships we’ve developed here to shape our lives in meaningful ways. We remain deeply grateful for the grace, mercy, and love we’ve consistently experienced in this church family.

Together, we eagerly look forward to advancing our shared mission of seeing disciples multiply disciples in every aspect of ministry—at Brentwood and beyond (Matt. 28:18–20)!

Thank you so much for your love, encouragement, support, and, above all, for your trust.
