No Worries

Jay Strother · Matthew 6:25-34

This passage begins with the phrase “This is why I tell you…” or “therefore.” Why does attempting to serve two masters (God and stuff) in v. 24 naturally connect with Jesus’ command for us to “not worry?” What are the things you worry about the most? What examples does Jesus give that help us see the truth clearly? When we worry, what are we really saying about our view of God and our relationship with Him? What are some examples of actions that show a priority for God’s kingdom over being consumed with our own? How would your life be different if you lived the way Jesus sets forth in this passage?
