A Light for the Nations

December 24, 2015

Jay Strother · Isaiah 49:6-7

We’re honored that you would join us as we celebrate the arrival of Jesus – God’s greatest gift to meet our greatest need. Through singing carols, reading of Scripture, teaching, and the lighting of candles we’ll celebrate together that “life was in Jesus and that life was the light of men; that light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it” (John 1:4-5).

We believe God designed the church and the family to work together to accomplish His purposes, so we are a “family church” that encourages the full participation of all generations. We don’t offer childcare on Christmas Eve because we want everyone – even our youngest worshippers – to experience the power of this moment. After all, Jesus came into our world as a child! So we don’t mind a little noise and moving around – we’re simply blessed by a church full of life!

We want to extend a special welcome to our guests. If you are joining us from out of town, then welcome – it’s good to meet part of our extended family! If you live nearby and don’t have a church home, we would love for you to join us all year round in our mission to connect people to the freedom, hope and love of Jesus Christ!
