Students | Big Wednesday LIFEGroup Launch

It begins on Wednesday 08.19.20. 6:30pm to 7:30pm. On the front lawn (weather pending). 

We will be live on the lawn for physically distanced worship, games, Bible study, and an good intro to student LIFEGroups.

These first two weeks (08.19 and 08.26) will be a great opportunity to connect with friends (new and old), enjoy being outside together, worship our living God together, and learn more about how this is a place of belonging for you!

We will start at 6:30pm outside of entrance B (nearest to Reid Hall). Theses first two weeks will consist of games, worship, a large group Bible study, and prayer time.

Restroom facilities will be available. Students will need to let an adult leader know to gain access to restroom facilities.

OUTSIDE MEETING UPDATES

We will update the status of our outside meeting every Wednesday no later than 4:00pm. We will use this event page, student social media accounts (FB and IG), and are working on a text code to allow you quick updates.

Our newest students (6th graders and students new to Station Hill) are invited to come a little early for a quick welcome and orientation to the student ministry. Click HERE for more info.

WHAT TO EXPECT

These first two evenings on the lawn will be like a park night meets a LifeGroup night.

There will be some games and things to do before we get going. We will have worship with Bryce, study the Bible around why community and belonging matters, and have a brief prayer time.

Students will be encouraged to keep physical distance throughout the evening. You can see more safety protocols below.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

In this COVID-19 season, please be aware of the following:

We WILL have:

• multiple hand sanitizer stations
• water cooler and disposable cups
• an encouragement for physical distancing of at least 6 feet
• a great time meeting in person  🙂

We will NOT provide:

• food, so eat before you come or bring your own
• masks or face coverings, so bring / wear them if you want them (which we encourage)

By attending, you realize and accept the risks associated with an outdoor activity during a pandemic.

Each person should self-screen before attending any activity, meeting, or event. If you can answer “yes” to any of the following, please stay home. This is a simple way to love your neighbor and show compassion.

• Have you been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
• Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
• Are you experiencing sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath?
• Have you experienced a new loss of taste or smell?
• Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

We will be outside and encouraging social distancing the entire evening, so please plan accordingly. A few things you may want to consider are (but not limited to):

• bug repellent
• sunscreen
• water
• face covering
