Huddle Groups

WHY?  Huddle Groups are a short-term strategy to help students connect face to face, experience care and community, and be challenged towards following Jesus.

WHEN?  Huddle Groups meet after each Sunday service (9:00am, 11:00am, and 4:00pm). Students will huddle up with their group and an adult leader for approximately 15 minutes immediately following the worship service.

WHERE?  Huddle Groups meet in the student atrium outside of Reid Hall.

WHO?  All students grades 6th – 12th are welcome to join a Huddle Group.

WHAT?  Huddle Groups will primarily focus on three things:

1. CONNECTION.  Allowing students to connect and converse face-to-face.
2. CARE.  Students will be able to share, pray, and be prayed for in the ups, downs, and mundane-ness of life.
3. CHALLENGE.  Students will be challenged to apply Scripture from the sermon they just heard in the worship service.

HOW?  Students in grades 6th through 12th can join a Huddle Group this Sunday by these simply steps:

1. Attend a Sunday worship service (9:00am, 11:00am, or 4:00pm),
2. Go to the student atrium (outside of Reid Hall in the new building) Immediately following the service, and
3. You’ll be directed how to huddle up!

By attending, you realize and accept the risks associated with gathering indoors around people.

Each person should self-screen before attending any activity, meeting, or event. If you can answer “yes” to any of the following, please stay home. This is a simple way to love your neighbor and show compassion. As a best practice, if you did not attend school because of symptoms or exposure, please do not attend a student gathering.

• Have you been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
• Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
• Are you experiencing sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath?
• Have you experienced a new loss of taste and/or smell?
• Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
