Join us as we go out into our community and actively serve our neighbors and the city of Columbia. Lunch will be provided.

8:30 AM – West End Baptist Church, Gather for a time of prayer, get supplies and YOUR FREE T-SHIRT
8:45 – head to worksite
12:00 – return to WEBC for lunch (provided)
Check out the details below to see which project is best for your family. Bring what supplies you can. We’ll have a few things on hand as well. Since there are only two projects and sign ups have been a little slow, we’ll divide up at the church before we head out. We can’t wait to see you Saturday!
Location: Department of Child Services, Columbia (5 min from WEBC)
Who can help: all ages and abilities
Environment: Indoors, office building
Specific supplies needed: Trucks, gloves, muscles
We will work to clear out unwanted donations like old furniture and mattresses. Some of it will need to haul off to a nearby convenience center. We will also dismantle a few existing cubicle walls. Others will help sort clothes and write notes of encouragement to the workers.

Location: West End Baptist Church
Who can help: All ages and abilities
Environment: Outdoors, grounds of the church
Specific supplies needed: gloves, limb cutters, rakes, spades, paint brushes
We will spend time on the grounds of West End Baptist Church pulling weeds around the historic wall and also the perimeter of the church building. We will cut down several dead limbs from trees and haul them to the edge of the property. Others will stain the tops of picnic tables at the pavilion.
