Join us as we host the Maury County South Central Region DCS staff for a Christmas celebration. These men and women work tirelessly to care for foster children in middle Tennessee, and we want to show them some love and appreciation for all they do. Volunteer Position Descriptions:
Decorators: Come at noon to help us get Reid Hall looking super festive!
Note-card writers: Come at noon to help us have a personalized note for every DCS worker.
Goody-bag Assemblers: Come at 2:00 p.m. to assemble the Christmas goody-bags for the DCS workers.
Servers: Come at 4:45 to help serve from the buffet, drink and dessert tables. (Please wear black bottoms and a white top.)
Signs and Greeters: Come from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. to help us line the sidewalk and make a cheer chute as the workers enter from the parking lot all the way to the doors by Reid Hall. We want it to be as long as possible. Signs that say “thank you” or “we love you” or other short words of encouragement are welcome and appreciated. All ages and families welcome! You will be outside the entire 30 minutes, so please dress accordingly for the weather.
Clean Up: Come at 7:15 p.m. to help us get the room cleaned up and turned over for Sunday morning activities.
Childcare: Arrive at 4:30 p.m. to get ready to receive children so the social workers can enjoy an adult dinner and know their kids are safe and having fun. Dinner provided!
