Engaging Your Neighbors Through Backyard Kids Clubs
April 17, 2018
Have you ever wanted to reach out to your neighbors but you don't know how? Backyard kids clubs are the perfect opportunity to do this! Each summer, Station Hill members who have accepted the call to share their love of Christ with children all over Middle Tennessee come together to open up their homes and backyards to kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity to hear about Jesus. This is a perfect ministry opportunity because it is completely flexible to fit whatever each family wants to do. You can host two-, three-, four- or five-day clubs, in the morning, afternoon or evening.
Backyard Kid Clubs (BKCs) are a mini Vacation Bible School dispersed to neighborhoods and communities all over the Middle Tennessee region. This concept allows our church to reach more families than we ever could through our on-campus VBS.
Through Backyard Kids Clubs we can easily become more involved in our community and engage the world through serving others and sharing the gospel. Backyard Kids Clubs are an incredible avenue to do both of these things as part of MTI. Click here to read how hosting a kids club impacted one of our Brentwood Baptist Church staff members.
